This week marks the bi-annual community-wide giving challenge for the Bay Park, our spectacular coastal resource for conservation and recreation. From Wednesday, April 15th, through Thursday, April 16th, there will be a 24-hour Giving Challenge that spans numerous communities in our region and more than 700 non-profit organizations. In the past two Giving Challenges, the Bay Park has been the leading fundraiser, a reflection of its impact and meaning to so many residents of the Gulf Coast. I am honored to have been a supporter of the Bay Park since its conceptual phase and to continue to support its mission and programming. Along with the vital preservation efforts of the park, this place is a destination for shared gatherings and experiences that uplift and connect our community.
During this week's challenge, the first $100 of every gift to the Bay Park will be doubled.
That means the impact of your gift will be magnified to support programming and operations that range from new plants to public class offerings and access to water recreation.
Click here between noon on Wednesday, April 15 and noon on Thursday, April 16 to give to The Bay. Your gift — large or small — helps keep the park green and clean.... and helps provide FREE high-quality programming for everyone to experience and enjoy.
Thank you for joining me in support of this magnificent resource for Sarasota and our coastal community.
