BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS of the SUN COAST
Volunteering in the community has always been a passion for me. I was raised to help others and I truly enjoy being active in our community to support causes that benefit families, businesses, and the environment that we share.
One of the organizations that I have recently gotten involved with is well known - Big Brothers Big Sisters. It's a great model of helping kids reach their full potential by pairing them with adult mentors who offer listening, guidance, and friendly support. For some kids, those simple gifts can make the biggest difference.
Our Sun Coast chapter has a waiting list of kids eager to be paired with caring mentors. Some of these boys and girls have been waiting for more than a year.
If you are interested in learning more about Big Brothers Big Sisters, please consider joining a no-pressure Zoom open house any Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. Every single week on Wednesday, Big Brothers Big Sisters talks about the who, what, when, where, and how of becoming a Big Brother or Big Sister. It's a great way to have any questions answered and to learn more about the important work of this organization.
